Unfortunately, no. There isn't much Italian N scale. Other than a handful produced by ACME.. Most Italian trains are in HO.

The BR V270 is nice, but @#$ ... the price tags!?

The BR270 is also only available at the "Idee + Spiel" toy stores it seems.

 

I'm not too surprised by the prices they're quite common. Interesting is the railbusses. A 2-unit railbus with 1 motorized unit and 1 dummy looks to cost about 150 euro. My 2 Kiha01, 2 Kiha02 and 2 Kiha03, all of them motorized, put together cost less than a single 2-unit railbus ;)

We were on a family Vacation in Germany this year. We were on this train in Munchen!!!!!!!!

You may want to compare prices -depending on the exchange rate (and shipping costs!) - with some of the retailers in Germany that I have found very easy to work with.

Product number searches don't seem to work as retailers seem to use a variety of prefixes. It's not in stock anywhere I can see, but I will find it
