When I first started building my layout I wasn't sure if I should go with code 55 or 80 flex track.

The hobby store that I went to locally Trainland, told me not to go with the code 55 because th trains would fly off the track. It's too late now, I went with code 80 but I might want to do a small module in the future. Is this information true that Trainland gave me?

A lot of Japanese trains have "pizza cutter" wheels, which means the flanges are fairly deep. In several cases they can impact with the molded plastic clips on Atlas Code 55.

However, Peco Code 55 is really just Code 80 rail sunk into the ties, so one is probably good going that route.
