This is an interesting video with lots of complex junctions, musical horns and red trains arriving in stations on the Meitetsu system.  This page on "Trains which require an additional surcharge" explains the difference between the two door cars and the three door cars. On Meitetsu first class cars require a railway ticket and an additional surcharge of 350 Yen.

I used to hear these play that melody as they approached, and then as they passed the Doppler effect would kick in and it would all go flat.  Really trippy, and the lack of resolution drove me nuts.  :grin

  I take it that the musical horns are on the trains...that would drive me insane!!!!!

 

I heard in Mexico they play "La Cucaracha" Frankly, if I had my way, all horns would be Bon Jovi sounds from the days when he rocked. (Unlike today where he sorta sucks, as all his music of the past ten years can be categorized as "wuss rock")  Frankly, I bet JR would gain more attention of they had Morning Musume or Hamasaki Ayumi horns, but meh...
