The report mentions these things have been around since the seventies, if they are so good why doesn't every city have them by now?

 

I always remember visiting the 1990 Garden Expo in Osaka where a futuristic people mover was sitting unused with some sort of mechanical problems while over at the JR exhibit their 1880 Porter 2-6-0 'Yoshitsune' was running back and forth all day like a Swiss watch.
