E5 and E5 coupled test run

What... i was expecting E5 + E5...  Was surprised when that E6 showed up.

Any idea what it costs electricity-wise to get that thing up to speed?  I was wondering what these test runs cost the railways.  If memory serves, the gauges in a JR West 221 series (or maybe one of those neutered 223s) indicated that as it departed Osaka, it pulled a little 400 amps for a short period before tapering off.  I can't remember what it was when it was just rolling along.
