Don't think I would even bother to do something like that, travel by train maybe one or twice a year.

Where I live and work, the majority of the people take the train into NYC. With the price of gas, parking, and time of travel, the train is by far the most economical and fastest way to get into NYC. Plus you can read/relax on the train instead of concentrating on driving.
