Hokkaido military trains

Every summer the JGSDF has a movement of military equipment by train from Honshu to the Yausubetsu Training Ground in eastern Hokkaido (US Marines also train here on occasion).  DD51+gons+flats on July 1, 2009.

I don't think the world appreciates the efforts of the Japanese military to keep Godzilla and the other monsters at bay.  Seriously...when was the last time the US, the British, or the French did anything to stop Rhodan, Ghidra, or Mothra?  Good to see these trains going off to some nearby shore to stop another monster attack.
