JR East Uetsu Main Line - Murakami to Atsumi-Onsen

Another great front view video on JR East's own railfan channel TRAInBLAZER.  At about 34:40, the train is entering a tunnel called 鼠噛.  I can't find any references to this online, and I'm not sure how it's read, but it means mouse/rat bite.  The following station is Nezugaseki, in which 'nezu' is the character for mouse/rat.  Far out.

TrainBlazer is just VICOM for people who don't want to pay (to be fair, it's hard to access and we don't have bluray anymore), I love their content

Were you reading the comments on that video?  Because there’s one that actually says it’s a threat to Vicom lol.  Vicom discs make up a significant portion of my trip-to-Japan shopping list, should I ever get that trip.  I also noticed when browsing their site, an overlay appeared for some exporter service.  Unfortunately it got expensive pretty quickly, which would now be compounded by… matters.

I knew what VICOM was beforehand lol

I'm happy with my fair selection of zenmentembo accounts on youtube so no lugging around luggages filled with VICOM material for me
