Specifically, I am thinking about trading the underframes of a KiHa 40 and KiHa 58 which have the same OAL and truck spacing. Link to comment

Ayn Posted January 30 Author Share Posted January 30 Today I swapped a Tomix 20m power chassis from an inexpensive donor I bought on eBay into a Metropolitan color KiHa 40 for my 城端氷見あ線 (Jōhana-Himi-ichi Line). I don't know if there is just one Tomix 20m power unit. But this (KiHa58 < -- > KiHa40) was a simple swap. 1 Link to comment
