Kato Loco Decoders in the future?

Do you think Kato will release an own Decoder Type for their Locomotives in the future?

 

We have the DN163K4A working with Japanese Electric and Diesel Locomotives, but which need some modifications on their Hulls for fitting the decoder.

As DCC isn't too popular in Japan I kinda doubt that we will see a lot in terms of DCC. The design of a lot of Kato's engines also makes DCC a pain to do as well (especially their SLs), so unless DCC gets dramatically more popular, I wouldn't hold my breath...

I think its doubtful there are companys that make decoders for Kato locos already. They should stick with what they know trains and leave decoders to other comapnies.
