Using the Tomix N-DU204-CL 5518 on Kato track

I want to buy the Kato V13 and I was wondering if I could use the Tomix controller due to its double control capabilities. Is this possible and will I need an adapter if so which one?

Yes you can use it. You will need to cut up some power feeder cables, so you have tomix at one end and kato at the other.

If you are terrified of soldering you can use these solder sleeves and just heat the sleeve with a match or lighter to melt the solder and shrink the sleeve down to insulate the butt joint in the wires.

 

Or you can use a quick connect terminal (like D 2 in 6 out) to easily add feeders as needed with no soldering. You can even double up feeders into output terminals.
