EF64 37 - last of the EF64-0 series

There was a rumour flying around last week that EF64 37, last of the EF64-0 series, had been retired and had been sent for static "preservation" in Takasaki. But it turns out rumours of its demise were unfounded, and JR East denies any plans for its withdrawal (see e.g. here and here).

 

Anyway that finally prompted to dig out these less-than-stunning pictures from last September, when it was hanging around Hachioji for some reason:

A hopefully "jumped the gun" sayonara video someone put together recently; unfortunately scenes not dated, but mainly in Nagano prefecture.
