Kiha66
A layout that has been displayed at JAM and published in the past. It is 1960 x 910 using Tomix track with a mountain setting. Track plan: http://imperial-railways.c.blog.so-net.ne.jp/_images/blog/_8ac/imperial-railways/IMG_0376.jpg Overall photo: http://imperial-railways.c.blog.so-net.ne.jp/_images/blog/_8ac/imperial-railways/Land.jpg The author has a blog called Imperial Railways Blog but I have not found any videos. Thanks so much for sharing! I've been a fan of this layout for a while, but I've never been able to find a plan for it! 1 Link to comment

Densha
I really dig this 70 x 45 x 25 cm layout: http://mikisuto.exblog.jp/14529474/ 4 Link to comment
velotrain
One thing I particularly like is that the mountain and tunnel are much more realistic than most I've seen. Link to comment
bill937ca
DDF (Diorama Display Factory) is a Japanese commercial layout builder. I came across a layout that caught my eye. Lots of tunnels, a large station and a train maintenance depot on what appears to be a lower level. http://www.diorama.co.jp/photo/rail_p/20130414_S_sama_001_L.jpg http://www.diorama.co.jp/owr_rail_p.html 2 Link to comment

Looks like they also built a clone of the kato showroom layout, anyone know where I could find these cantanary poles? The look pretty good for a rual 60's feel. http://www.diorama.co.jp/photo/rail_p/rail_p_20161103_05_L.jpg Link to comment
serotta1972
That's your layout in the future Sam! Aren't those Kato Single Catenary Poles just painted brown and slightly modified - just a guess. Link to comment

Hopefully! Huh, I think you're right Junior! Luckily I happen to have a few on hand, so maybe I'll try painting a few this weekend to see how they look. Link to comment
kvp
They look more like the cheap greenmax variant with no auxiliary arm and a simple round pole profile. Link to comment

The layout in question I'm pretty sure is this one which has a lot of nice YT vids: 2 Link to comment
ToniBabelony
IIRC DDF uses a lot of their own products, so the catenary poles are probably painted DDF examples. The Kato Hobby Centre layout is made by Beyond Works IIRC. Link to comment
