Pauljag900
Not hijacking at all buddy. its a good setup really, trams are a bit fast thoππI d be throwing upππ we all know what goes in to making a layout and how dificult it can be at times so what he s produced is quite an achievement in my opinion, with a bit of fine tuning it could be very good. thanks for sharing Tony. ps. I love that KATO park and car park set but canβt get it anywhere at the moππ Edited October 12, 2020 by Pauljag900 Link to comment

bill937ca
Problem is that too many of Boston's PCCs were WWII vintage "War Cars"Β (225 of 346) and MBTA never kept up there maintenance even in the 1960s and 1970s. Most PCCs operating today are post-war PCCs. Edited October 13, 2020 by bill937ca 1 Link to comment
Cat
True that, but still, the newer not-PCC cars start breaking down as soon as they put them in service here. Edited October 13, 2020 by Cat 1 Link to comment

My first train set was a Tyco Chatanooga something - I still have one of the freight cars that came with it and came with a Southern 0-6-0 which I've tried to replicate. Pauljag900
While waiting for buildings and lights I decided to add some detail in the form of road signs and traffic lights.I realised that it all looks a bit flat so decidedΒ to create a raised area. I had a rummage through my left overs box and came up with this,I used old t track boards,3mm mdf,Kato track piers,an old staircase from the overhead stationΒ and some tile card. the two square areas and the card across the back will be parking spaces. Quite a bit of detailing and tidying up to do but this is the basics of it. just enough room underneath for single story buildings and shops etc on top creating like a plaza area. I wasn't going to add one, but I might reconsider seeing this thread. I wouldn't want a loop, bit more a point to point with both ends hidden. Not sure I'd use Unitram either, looks a bit too modern for what I want π Β 1 Link to comment
