Thanks for the link.  A good resource, though it may be out of date in some cases- the departure melody is wrong for Tokaido Line platforms at Shinagawa Station (platforms 5/6 and 11/12)- it should be "tetsudou shouka", which also is my favorite jingle (the tune was/is also traditionally used on some JNR and JR limited expresses to lead on-train announcements on departure/arrival)

While we're on the topic of station jingles, my favorite in the Kansai area is the Hanshin train arrival melody.

There was a CD of all the jingles for sale on eBay. Captain and I talked about buying it, but it never happened. I thought it would be good to rip them, and host them as a modeling material. I have a good number of them I found online and use with my Z-scale layout.

Taking departure melodies to the next level. The singer of Super Bell"z is also present at the end doing an improvisation on the "do.re.mi. inverter" (Keikyu 1000 Series, VVVF Siemens) motor sound. Stuff like this makes me so happy!
