Popondetta announces Tokyu 5000 and 5200 series, this one will probably be safe.

Why have I seen this...

Now I want the 5200 to add to my Stainless Steel collection!

YES finally the Kiha-189! No more escape now!

Wonder how the chaps who got the previous release at inflated prices will feel now ~  🙂

Popondetta has announced that they were preparing to ship the Borg Cube, aka Toei 6500 series. Flagging this as I think a few members had pre-ordered it.

Seems fair game since the main 4 haven't touched it.

Some interesting details, head and tail lights with 6 options covering 3 depots, Shin-Tsurumi, Okayama and Naebo. As I understand it the difference between winter and summer spec is some of the vents. Also some options with of without JRF logo.

Hope these are easy to replace the rapido couplers. Could make a nice yard addition if executed well.

I am also interested in the HD300. That would be my first Popondetta freight locomotive. I’ll have to figure out how to install a DCC decoder.

Prepare for blast off, Popo just announced they will be releasing the Osaka Metro ISS module. Schedule says this year, let's see if they will start shortening their announcement to release schedule.

What a unique looking train, love it.

Does the Osaka metro run both overland and subway lines?

Yes, the Chuo line where these trains run has a viaduct section. The Midosuji line as well, it starts around the bridge crossing the Yodogawa. I don't remember for the other lines.

Damn might have to think about incorporating a subway line on the layout now haha

At 34,000¥, we might be able to resist, stay tuned.  I showed it to Roxanne, who liked it, but didn't say "Squee — buy it!"

Yeah it put me back a bit too. But is different and i like different trains…
