Makes it quite a bit cheaper than buying from AmiAmi but I'm not sure of the shipping prices for a comparable lighting kit bundle (like the 1561) from AmiAmi as I can't make an account right now due to maintenance. Btw, this is the item in question, according to them. It's not listed as Popondetta, but that's what they told me is compatible with a Popondetta 1560: https://www.khahostore.com/products/鉄製所-窄tomix用進階形室內燈n-scale-interior-lightadvance-versionfor-tomixmicroace-narrow/ Khaho is fairly good deal though its shipping varies. Most orders are 80HKD shipping but i paid one at 400HKD (multiple items so big box). Much better than HobbyDigi Hong Kong. I use Khaho for bulk of my orders as even there euro trains like sudexpress dual 159 and hobbytrain vectron 193 was reasonable priced (significant savings). The fact there is tax savings part due to them underdeclaring the goods. Just limited selection there so some items i will go through Germany side with 19% vat off and flat rate shipping. Only thing to note about khaho is online prices are online prices. If you walk into the store to buy you pay regular prices unless you order online and pickup at local store or you spend enough to be store vip. This is uncommon for even hong kong toy sellers. They're remarkably similar in terms of physical shape but the Meitetsu was painted red whereas Tokyu was painted green. I am not aware of something similar for the Tokyu 5200 series though https://stat.ameba.jp/user_images/20210808/09/mohane5812002/79/72/j/o1727116914983794854.jpg?caw=1125 https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/6c/Meitetsu5000_TokonameKosoku_JinguMae_19810726.jpg/800px-Meitetsu5000_TokonameKosoku_JinguMae_19810726.jpg 1 Link to comment
disturbman
That Meitetsu train is lit. I'm not much versed in Meitetsu trains, so I'm not surprised this one escaped my attention, but it's funky enough that it should be better known. Surprised no one ever made a model of it. Link to comment
