cteno4
Very smart and good when you next dig the train out! jeff Link to comment
Lina_Blue
In the meantime, I took a look at the CVs available and experimented with them. Found a quasi universal setting for my commuters for the 3 speed settings and applied those for further testing. Also I noted all non default CV settings on the back of the LCCs (Loco Cue Cards). Lina_Blue
I got new buildings to decorate everything with! I put them everywhere where space was available, OK, not directly, more like where those buildings would fit and belong. And still have a footpath free for me. It looks so much better now! 5 Link to comment
tt0880
Looking great! You probably know this already, but I would HIGHLY recommend getting the station area road plates to go in front of your viaduct station. Some of the buildings you bought are meant to go specifically into the building spots on the road plates. It adds a lot to my layout and is the best looking part. 1 Link to comment

Had a short look at those road plates. Will order some with my next shopping. Link to comment
Lina_Blue
Had some fun today! First I had to correct some problematic places prone for derailments, but increasing the length of the straigt part before it, it mindered the problem greatly. Also lenghend two tracks in the station to fit 15 car trains (finally)! Once during Play, I made a perfect stop with my E231: Sadly, It was a 5 car consist, I had to stop a little earlier ^^;; I also took out my Kiraras for a spin, it was great seeing them running again. They fit well with the alpine station, don't they? And here some Fotos my Friend made last wednessday during a short session: 5 Link to comment
JR 500系
It's great fun running trains! good work on that 15 car station, it requires a huge amount of space! Link to comment
Densha
The pics where you can see all the interior lights are really cool! Makes me want to fit my trains with them too. Link to comment
Lina_Blue
Today I had some more time to run trains. It's a challange to have three 15 car trains running, all of them as Multiple Units. It is a little pain to set everything up on the Zephyr, but it worked. Have some wild unedited videos: And for you @Densha Some more pics of the lit trains: If you wonder, that train is also lit, but I can't supply power to both sidings at the same time. I sometimes park non DCC equiped trains in them. 5 Link to comment
JR 500系
This is amazing! Those interior lights really stand out when running! Must have cost quite a fortune lighting them all up! 🙂 Link to comment
MichiK
Whoa... that must be a little boy's paradise... and a big boy's one, too! But let me gues: You have no cats at home?! 😁 Link to comment
Lina_Blue
Actually, we have three cats at home. But they pretty much just sit around. OK, they like to chase the Kiraras ^^ 2 2 Link to comment
MichiK
Awwww, what adorably cute moggies !!! But I'm surprised that you do not have problems with cat hair? At my houshold the cears would be clogged in the shortest of times! (Of course, floor layouts are an absolute no-go since we have our second cat who is blind.) 1 hour ago, Waisneed said: OK, they like to chase the Kiraras ^^ Nah, that's not chasing - that's escorting! My old tom could sit an hour in front of a (long gone) microlayout and contently watch the train turn its circles. But once there must have been a little contact problem, and the train stopped in the tunnel, all of a sudden. The very moment, my cat jumped to action and tried to help the poor little train - with his fore leg up to the shoulders in the tunnel mouth! Link to comment

They are cute and very well behaved (for cats that is). Oh! Do I have problems. As previously stated, I clean the tracks before every run. And the trains every few days or whe putting them away. I'm now quite fast in removing, cleaning and reseating axels i to the bogies. Link to comment
Lina_Blue
I'm expeting a parcel with some more power cables and more feeder tracks, I prepared my layouts wiring for the task. But alas, the parcel had been missrouted and will arrive late or tomorrow instead. But I used this time constructivly and finally created a trackplan of my current layout. Please note: The track segments outside of stations may not reflect the real thing 1:1, because of flex, lot of flex. Please enjoy. 5 Link to comment
Lina_Blue
I had some more fun this week. After I got all the wiring done: I had to add some more storage tracks for further play. As I got more and more trains: And after some cleaning with a Tomix and Lux cooperation I got my Seibus running: 3 Link to comment
Lina_Blue
Every layout has to be dismantled sometimes. Temporary layouts more so than permanent ones. It's sad to see Consoly City gone :(, but only for a finite amount of time. But don't fear, I will rebuild console city, bigger, better and more advanced! Please enjoy these "slides" of the Great Dismantling! Edited July 13, 2018 by Waisneed 1 1 Link to comment
JR 500系
It's so sad to see it go! But great job on keeping them up so quickly and tidy! It goes so that something greater can come! 🙂 Link to comment

As some of you may have already glimpes in the "What did you on your Layout today"-Thread. In the last three days, I was hard at work of my newest Console City. But number 5 only has Shinkansen services. Also trying something completly different with a bunch of "LACK"-tables from Ikea. To keep the track from the floor. Now it's so much easier to get good photographs (and hide the cable management). Please take a look: 8 Link to comment
JR 500系
Lovely! It's always much better and so much sweeter to view the trains at eye level zooming past! 2 Link to comment
Lina_Blue
Wow, I seriously need to provide you guys and gals with some more pictures. How could I not do that yet? 😉 Let's take a look into the looking glass and go back to August 17th: I too have some Kirararas, and I planed stuff for those in the future, but I'll need some railroad crossings to get that realized. But I let them run on my 'Trunk Lines' for the moment ^^:: Also I still lack some Lack tables, that's why there are no giant Lego brick buildings on this layout: And a good look of my old elevated station and the longest straight stretch on this layout: And some more pictures for you all to enjoy: 3 Link to comment
JR 500系
Lovely! I'm sure it was as fun running them as it was viewing them from those pictures! That overhead station is LLLOOONNNGGGG!!! 1 Link to comment
mryork
Man, I love Waisneed's layout. A couple of his photos resemble a genuine big city commuter or subway system yard. Edited December 7, 2018 by mryork Link to comment
