bill937ca
There is a Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism document online which gives dimensions for road markings. This document is divided into Regulatory Markings and Indication Markings. This document translates with Google Translate in Google Chrome. Regulatory markings: https://www.mlit.go.jp/road/sign/kijyun/kukaku/bpkukaku06.html Indication markings: https://www.mlit.go.jp/road/sign/kijyun/kukaku/bpkukaku06.html Some road markings are used in connection with another road marking. For instance diamonds indicate that there is a pedestrian crossing ahead. Sign dimensions are also included in this document. Regulatory signs: http://www.mlit.go.jp/road/sign/kijyun/kukaku/bpkukaku02.html#kisei Warning signs: http://www.mlit.go.jp/road/sign/kijyun/kukaku/bpkukaku02.html#keikai Information signs: http://www.mlit.go.jp/road/sign/kijyun/kukaku/bpkukaku02.html#annai Instruction markers: http://www.mlit.go.jp/road/sign/kijyun/kukaku/bpkukaku02.html#shiji Edited January 10, 2017 by bill937ca 9 Link to comment
