There are two different versions of SAL.  Delivery time not including customs inspection:

 

SAL By Air 14 to 56 days (30 Kg. Weight Limit)

 

Small Packet Economy By Air (SAL) 14 to 56 days (2 Kg. Weight Limit)

 

Small Packet Economy By Air is what HS and most other vendors use.  And that 14 to 56 days does not include time in customs. If parcels are arriving faster at this time of year it may be because of low traffic volume.

 

SAL by Air has various premiums added to its price.
