After some information about a fictional future JR map

I'd appreciate it if anyone could translate this, but most notably, it appears to show JR as having seven regions in the future!  What's up with that?

Not sure I'd want to travel in a "Magma Superliner"... If the map represents the Shinkansen network it's about 15 years out of date, apart from maybe the Kyushu bit.

Fwiw apparently a screen shot from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.  The train status board has a Sanyo Shinkansen service delayed due to accident, and a Sanyo Line service delayed due to earthquake.
