Densha
I sure am missing quite a few trains in my JR Shikoku fleet, but as I only started collecting seriously a year or two ago there are a lot of models that I just have not come across yet for a reasonable price. Amongst others, I am particularly looking to expand my fleet with KiHa 32, KiHa 40/47, KiHa 185, N2000 series, 121 series, 113 series, and perhaps an EF65/EF210 along a container rake. Not sure about the Sunrise Seto yet, as I set a maximum consist length of six cars for now and do not want to go down the rabbit hole called 乗り入れ列車 (non-JR Shikoku trains on Shikoku). Seriously, even Hanwa Line 111 series, Sanyo-Tokaido Main Line Shin-Kaisoku 117 series, Yakumo 381 series in various liveries, etc. did run on Shikoku at some point in time. Link to comment
disturbman
Indeed, some of those MA sets are pretty expensive. I have been looking at them myself. Link to comment
bill937ca
Nothing on the layout, but yestesterday I bought a plastic patio chair so I can sit comfortably at the layout during operating sessions. Edited March 20, 2018 by bill937ca 3 1 Link to comment

IST
I grabbed my friend's Grassmaster and added 3 layer of static grass to the T-trak modules (and I think I have to add at least another one). Buildings have not been glued yet, I just put the on the modules to look better. 9 Link to comment

You just had no room right as there are like 5 different liveries. 😀 Edited March 26, 2018 by serotta1972 Mistake Link to comment
Martijn Meerts
It’s not that I don’t like the E3, there were just no models of it released/easily available around the time when I was buying lots of trains. I’ll get some eventually :) And I already don’t have enough space, the 2 Dr. Yellows are missing, plus only half the tracks were meant for shinkansen ... Link to comment
cteno4
There must be more tracks, there must be more tracks... jeff Link to comment
Martijn Meerts
Yes, must have more yards ... And then build a simple double track loop for the actual layout ;) Link to comment
cteno4
Who needs a layout when you have big pretty yards full of trains! Next you will will need to have the yard elevator that has like 10 yard shelves you can raise/lower to your helix! Jeff Link to comment

bill937ca
I am planning to clear off my second hobby table and bring the trains out again. Even bought a few items this month. So this will give me two bulletin board layouts along with two hobby table layouts. YES! 2 Link to comment
NXCALE
After getting some Tamiya Putty, I used it to join platforms (glue is also required). I have seen how to do it in some magazines so I really wanted to try, it was quite fun. Edited March 28, 2018 by nxcale 7 Link to comment

Kiha66
Did some airbrush testing, I'm still learning but it was a good experience, much easier than I was expecting. I need to do more tests before actually use it for painting a model though, this coat came out way too heavy. I also tried painting ballasted track, it came out nicer than I was expecting but again I went way to heavy on the paint. I'll probably try again with a new test piece to try to get the method down. Martijn Meerts
With airbrushing it's much better to do multiple fine coats then 1 thick coat, and it ends up taking less time in the end if you're painting multiple items. Thin coats dry real fast, so you can spray a 2nd coat fairly soon after the first one. Due due to it being workdays right now, I'm not really doing much. Started removing the shinkansen from the yard again, and measuring the length of the various sets I had forgotten. Also gathered my steam trains and steam era coaches, so once I've cleared the shinkansen I'll be filling the yard with steamers. Lots of steamers :) 2 Link to comment

NXCALE
With the arrival of the LEDs, I think I will be completing some tests in my station on the next days. Also, I edited a very short video about my bus turntable Ver 2.0 . Actually it is nothing special, I just made it smaller (or shorter). 3 2 Link to comment
