serotta1972
I was just watching an A350 Documentary and it did look similar. Paul, when travel restriction are lifted please visit San Francisco and I will provide room and board in exchange for working on my T-Trak modules. I can even pay you with more trains. π 2 Link to comment

Pauljag900
I just had to re position 4 piers, Station wo nt need to much kitbashing, just need to make a staircase to bring station passage floor up to platform height. I I cut the side away from one piece of the viaduct track then glued to the platform and mounted the platform on to piers. need to tidy the end of the platform then add some fencing to the outer edge, worked out better than I thought, 10 Link to comment
cteno4
Yeah fun use of the platform Paul, never seen one used like that! Just make sure to put a back wall on it so your passengers donβt tumble off to a 20β drop! looking nice, lots in a small space but not feeling uber crowded. cheers, jeff 1 Link to comment
Pauljag900
I had a bit of a play with the elevated platform and moved it to the opposite side of the track.I put a piece of cardboard over the end until I find something better,itβs better than just an exposed end. not wanting to buy from abroad at the moment I d settled on faller street lights at Β£5 each. This morning I was looking to see if I had any bulbs to illuminate the buildings and found a container with 6 yard lights and 10 double street lights all unused, result!!!πππ Edited July 5, 2020 by Pauljag900 3 Link to comment

So normally the protruding area that had a restaurant looking to the other end of the station became a restaurant overlooking trains that pass through underneath it. https://i.imgur.com/PCrEvDJ.jpg Similarly, with your setup, what normally would be a large waiting area in that station could instead be a restaurant overlooking trains that pass through and underneath the station. If you're going with that, you'd have the blue pillars left right? I wonder what you could construct with it π 1 Link to comment

cteno4
I have 3 theme parks Iβve assembled items for for Ttrak modules first. One is godzilla land with 1/8 scale godzilla scenes using the Carleton ornaments that light up and make noise. Have an old battered 16β goji model that will use the full scale foot to have the scene where folks can take pictures of them about to be stepped on and maybe park entrance is gojis head and you walk thru the mouth (and/or as a photo op) second is a Jurassic park with life sized Dino models and third is a 1\16 scale ultra man battles with him in scenes with various monsters. other little fun ones can be a PokΓ©mon park with those little 1/2β PokΓ©monβs you can get on ebay. Or the full size exhibit of a rx 78 gundam that was in Tokyo in the park grass area. 1/144 models are pretty cheap and easy to build jeff 2 Link to comment

Pauljag900
Today I turned the layout around then spent 6 hours rewiring everything but that included the lights I found that I did nt know I had.ππ obviously the layout is nt big enough for enclosures like a zoo so the idea is a theme park with ice cream parlour, snack bars, fair rides etc. And of course the train ride. it will be enclosed with brick walling and hedging. .7 7 Link to comment

cteno4
Ohh put put, yes! There is one in japan that even has like 15β dinosaurs in them. Canβt remember exactly where it was but we saw large Dino heads sticking up above a 7β wall and couldnβt see what was there until we rounded the block and found the entrance! Quite fun! Some were animated like get it in the Brontosaurus mouth and it raised its head up and the golf ball was pooped out the rear near the hole! I completely had forgotten all this until the mention of put put and dinosaur park! Ok now itβs on the list to model that someday. One of the grand nephews left a pile of tiny, well painted Dinoβs here for me a couple of years ago, Iβll have to go find them. mini golf, put put, driving ranges you see is the strangest places in japan and dome in some odd ways. jeff 1 Link to comment
