on October 8 2016 (Saturday).

Although I'd be happy to attend any open day, for some reason this one holds special appeal.  Maybe it's the building, which fits the organization's being an institution.  I imagine weird experiments being conducted, involving ice baths, electroshock therapy, and paper cups of pills administered by imposing matrons.  But somehow this is done on railcars, not people.  Hmmm  :confused3:

I went there 2 years ago. There were two types of visitors: 1) young parents with their kids (or young couples who apparently might want to know how to raise kids), 2) train geeks (which were to heavy to enjoy floating superconductor-liquid nitrogen mini train).

Basically that's the way with all of these open houses, though the behavior of the first group is getting worse recently, IMO.
