mattdwnunder
The Kato Yo3500 (8035-1) is said to be a Shinetsu Type. I am interested in replicating a Hokkaido based unit such as 4413. Other than renumbering is there anything to do other than some really tiny reporting marks - I am illiterate in Japanese anyway - that need be done to replicate the model I am wanting to have? bikkuri bahn
Don't want to come off as cheeky, but perhaps a renumbering is good enough- lettering is so tiny in n scale 99.9% of viewers wouldn't know the difference. Would free up your valuable hobby time for other projects. Edited August 31, 2016 by bikkuri bahn Link to comment
mattdwnunder
I agree with you, bikkuri bahn on the decals. I was wondering if there were any external differences I was missing. Hokkaido gets quite a bit colder than other parts of Japan. I wasn't sure if there was any apparatus to help keep the van warm that wasn't present on the other Yo 3500 vans. Link to comment
