bikkuri bahn
TOKYO -- The governments of Japan and Panama have reached a basic agreement to adopt Japan's monorail system for a metro line that will run across the Panama Canal, The Nikkei learned Monday. The project is worth a total of about 230 billion yen ($1.96 billion), with Japan's electronics giant Hitachi being one of the promising candidates that will benefit from the deal. Japan has experience exporting its monorail system to the Chinese city of Chongqing and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, but has never exported it to a Latin American country. http://asia.nikkei.com/Business/Trends/Panama-agrees-to-adopt-Japan-s-monorail-technology Edited January 19, 2016 by bikkuri bahn 2 Link to comment
