bikkuri bahn
A family trip has taken me to the Northbay region, so I used it as an opportunity to check on the SMART maintenance facility in Santa Rosa, near the airport. A swing by the site revealed not the expected two trainsets, but rather six two-car transets all stabled at the facility. Please excuse the quality of the pics, as they were taken through chain link fencing. *service is scheduled to commence in autumn 2016. 3 Link to comment

trainsforever8
Wow I didn't know another railway had ordered these! These are the same trains operating on Toronto's Union Pearson Express line towards the airport! Link to comment
Nick_Burman
Were these the 40 ton per car trains? No big deal if one considers that a Budd RDC weighs 51 tons... Cheers NB Link to comment
