Vintage 2 rail O gauge Japanese brass

About six months ago, I got an O gauge brass electric on Ebay. The only reason I bought it was for the trucks (bogies). They were almost the exact same size as the spoked drivers on a Pennsy AA1, the first Pennsy electric loco that I was going to scratchbuild. I held off on butchering the loco, being rather curious as to what I had bought. Lo and behold, in the latest issue of the Train Collectors Association quarterly newsletter, under "mystery items", was a picture of what I have. Unlike mine, which was heavily painted in Milwaukee Road colors, this one clearly displayed that it was an ED58, boxcab version, prior to modernization. Oddly, it has an 8 volt motor. Now I'm thinking about restoring it to JNR glory. Only JNR loco running on probably any PRR prototype layout. QUESTION: Does anybody know anything this loco ? I'm thinking maybe Katsumi or Sakai. It's a bit on the crude side, maybe it was a kit.post-1541-0-29377700-1444346545_thumb.jpg

There was a bunch of unsual brass models imported back in the early 1960's by some outfits.  Including some JNR stuff like this.  As for information on prototypes I couldn't find very much.  The Oigawa railway  runs similar boxcabs and paints them red to fit in with their steam trains.
