marknewton
So I finally managed to get some video of the Tramway 8620 class 2-6-0s that I bought from forum member Keitaro' web shop Loco1hobby - thanks David! :) As you can see from these two videos they're very nice runners that can haul a decent sized train, in this case twelve cars. Detail and finish are superb, with an extensive set of alternate parts being provided, such as smoke deflectors, headlights and funnels/chimneys. https://www.flickr.com/photos/94424961@N00/18516382782/in/dateposted-public/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/94424961@N00/18493597686/in/dateposted-public/ Now that I'm happy with the way they run they'll have the detail parts and decoders fitted. I also recently bought a very nice Kato EF58 from a local seller on eBay. The model was allegedly used, but as is often the case there was no sign that it had ever been more than test run. For a long time I wasn't interested in having an EF58, and to be honest the only reason I bought this one was because it was very cheap. Now that I have one I think they're wonderful, and I can't imagine why I didn't get one sooner. https://www.flickr.com/photos/94424961@N00/18522213325/in/dateposted-public/ Cheers, Mark. 4 Link to comment
