  1. I'm looking for information on the JNR 485 series trains, especially the various cab car variants. So far i've identified a few variants: -KuRo 481-0: old classic bonnet style -KuHa 481-200: classic high cab, with openable front doors -KuHa 481-300: classic high cab, no front doors, single headlight -KuHa 481-1000: classic high cab, no front doors, single headlight -KuHa 481-1500: classic high cab, no front doors, double headlight -KuRo 481-2000: panoramic low cab -KuHa 481-3000: rebuilt high cab And the stranger ones: -Kuha 480-3: classic high cab, invard opening front door -Kumoha 485-200: a motor unit with a cab added later (probably) -Sashi 481: this is apparently a restaurant car, with head and tail lights and a driving cab -and the various one of a kind joyful trains The only one i can't really find any information is the Sashi 481 restaurant/cab car. I would really like to know what was it's purpose and how did they use it? Also if i left out any variant from the list above, please add it to this topic.
