This package from 1999 was shipped a month before the one that arrived here two weeks ago. Lol, if one didn't know that 1999 was Hobby Search you might think it took 22 years for that package to get there. 😏 10 Link to comment

I'm taking back that emoji, dammit! And I did know that 1999 was HS, but still didn't make the connection! 3 Link to comment
cteno4
So I I finally looked and the domain is 1999 as it was founded in 1999. jeff 3 1 Link to comment
Cat
I only ever thought of them and had them bookmarked as '1999' — it's right there in the url! took me a bit to start parsing all this talk about HS when I came here. : 3 5 Link to comment

A Kato (10-950) Takamatsu-Kotohira Railway 30 type. I watched this Youtube video on weathering one and just had to buy one. I was very pleased with the packing. Rail Gallery Rokko opened the package and put small pieces of foam at the ends of the train in the Kato styrofoam packaging to stop any movement from happening during shipping. Looks like these were restocked - was looking for them and were sold out. Went to RG-Rokko and they still have them and just ordered one. Yay. Edited April 28, 2021 by serotta1972 2 Link to comment
railsquid
And another one knocked off the bucket list: Kato 157 series "Amagi" by Rail Squid, on Flickr No surprise lighting, but in excellent shape for a model made over 20 years ago and hardly any free fibrous wormgear wrapping. Wheels replaced with modern "blackened" ones. 8 Link to comment
bill937ca
Another Tomytec Hiroshima tram for my little layout. Ordered on Sunday, shipped by DHL on Monday and here on Thursday! Included is a small gift (four color pen). Thanks RG Rokko! This group of Hiroden trams among the last two-man medium size trams in Hiroshima. Until the end the conductor's window was just behind the now entrance door. Just for fun here is a You Tube video shot from old conductor's window from JRCS Hospital-Hondori on either tram3 or tram 7. Video by sakachannchi. serotta1972
Got my first order from RG-Rokko - the Kato 30 Type and since shipping would be pretty the same for 2 items, I finally got the Tomix Yufuin No Mori. 8 Link to comment

Sr.Horn
After sixt month of travelling twice between Japan and Spain, my Christmas present from my future wife arrived this week. Well... waiting has a reward! The M1 + JR West 227-0 "Red Wing" departure on time from my temporary layout. The box from Hobby Search and protection was perfect considering has gone around the world two times and the Spanish Postal Service is not the best taking care of packages. Original box: Very true box inside the previous box: The M1 and the train inside a hidden box: The family grows: Well, train runs perfectly. Despite the Power Pack looks like a cheap plastic toy, but it is solid and works perfectly. The same with the turnout control switches. But... after make a temporary layout I noticed the lack of track variety. I need more curves and turnouts. Current situation: S248 x18 S186 x6 S124 x1 S124C x1 S64 x6 S62 x4 S62F x1 S60L x2 S605 x2 R348-45 x8 R315-45 x8 R718-15 x3 R481-15 x2 EP718-15L x2 EP718-15R x1 EP481-15L x1 EP481-15R x1 My idea is construct a layout with a two tracks main line and a rural single track line and an small yard so I need at least two Power Packs extra and trying to design well with the insulate unijoiners that I've no idea how they works. Kamome
Received a small parcel from Kato. 0系 update parts Koki 106 reflectors, as i’ve lost a lot but actually need for my Tomix Shiki 1000s more. 2 bags of coal for Tenshodo 9600. (The plastic coal pile looks like plastic) 2 lots of couplers for HO Kani 24. These are for the Ohanefu 24-0 which come with standard knuckle couplers on the train crew end. This leaves a large gap so i want to switch to the standard HO kato blue train/kiha couplers. Kadees helped a little but there’s too much slack and they often uncoupled on uneven track. 3 Link to comment

gavino200
Just some little things, probably worth less than the postage. The Zero update kit and a couple of busses. I think these are seriously the last busses I'm going to buy. I'm fairly sure I have enough now, until enough time passes for them to look old fashioned. 4 Link to comment

Or have they long since been scrapped? The KoKi 250000 fleet was gradually reduced with the introduction of the KoKi 107's in 2008, they were finally removed from service in 2012, from around the late 1990's to early 2000's the KoKi 250000's were mixed in with regular KoKi 50000's on trains as they were no longer needed for services that ran at 100km/h due to the widescale adoption of the KoKi 100 Series variants. I have provided a link below that will give you some reference pictures of the KoKi 50000 variants. http://f-kawasaki.sakura.ne.jp/car/koki50000/ Edited May 4, 2021 by Das Steinkopf 2 1 Link to comment
