Kamome
Wow, Tomix, you cheap skates! Could you not have included those in the parts bag? Its kind of one of the defining features of this loco. Link to comment

Spot on you would think that given it is one of the last two members of the class in service and the fact they have had the air conditioners fitted to them since 1988, which is almost as long as they have been in JRF service they should have them either fitted or with the model as standard. For me was the TM-08R to power one of the Kumaden 6000 Series and the JC25 TN’s to finish the fitting of my Greenmax 211-5000 Series LL Sets. I also got the Tokai Love Live Sunshine bus as my daughters are big fans of the game and I will be able to fit it in with the JR Tokai based layout when I get around to it, the small station was purchased as a parts donor for some stuff I’m working on. Very nice little station... 1 Link to comment
Khaul
I pre-ordered the Shiki1000 ages ago. It goes well with my Tsurumi line collection. I did not have much of a shopping list when it became available so I just added the Tomix track markers and got all send by SAL small parcel. It arrive after a couple of weeks. The Shiki is quite spectacular. All those wheels are too shiny so I applied one of the markers to them. I also replaced the Rapido couplers by Kato knuckle couplers, but initially I did not have the patience to re-install the springs. So the couplers look droopy in the photo above. After a bit of work I got the couplers to look better. The wheels need another touch with the markers, which, by the way are very nice. 9 Link to comment
Lina_Blue
My E353 has arrived too. Such a beautifull train. Still needs some FL-12 love for DCC. Yes, I setup a simple and boring test loop extra for this ^^ 10 Link to comment

Sheffie
Order #110 at Rail Gallery Rokko: 2 x Koki 50,000 2 x Koki 104 (the wrong shade of blue, but still good value when loaded with containers) 1 x Taki 3000 (the Japan Oil variant I didn't have) 2 x Taki 1900 1 x Hoki 2200 (wheat coloured! but cheap! So this will be my first weathering project) 1 x Wafu 29500 (something to round out the new industrial freight train) This uses up just about all of my available sidings, by the time other things have arrived. But these are the things that I want, so we're good. Edited April 2, 2019 by Sheffie 3 Link to comment
serotta1972
I don't remember the last time I inspected a model before purchasing it - so I was holding the E235 and looking at it and noticed that the doors were slightly blurred on the sides and I asked Nariichi and if there was a defect on the paint job and he kinda laughs and said it's the color gradation and I was like oh okay. So going back to the hotel that day I looked at the real E235 and there it was and it was done really well with the Kato's paint job. That is some really amazing stuff! The quality of Kato and other Japanese brands are just mind blowing relative to what I am experiencing with my domestic brands that are made overseas. 10 1 Link to comment
Yavianice
KATO, TOMIX and Micro Ace spoil me in comparison to European brands. Which makes cheapo repaints from KATO all the more baffling. Link to comment
JR 500系
Haha nice Junior! Now all you need is to draw out that centre black joining portion of the doors and your model is just a scale away from the real one! 🤣 Link to comment

Sheffie
Two deliveries together! Kokis and containers and some foliage and paved stone, and of course a Hobby Search pen. Now I just need to work out how I managed to order two of the 2x Koki 107 rather than just 2 wagons. I’m pretty sure that I can’t fit all of this onto my freight sidings. 2 2 Link to comment
Sascha
My add on for my TWR 70-000 series and the set with the bridge I wanted from Nariichi. Thanks for the bridge link bill937ca!! 3 Link to comment

I'd like to see how yours turns out before I get a sharpie and do mine. 🙂 Actually now, I'm a little disappointed that Kato didn't already paint that line. Haha. Link to comment
Pauljag900
Some cheap finds on eBay at the weekend, containers and truck for roughly half price. Also got some more road for the freight yard and stumbled across the Coca Cola xmas truck, not really Japanese but will look nice travelling down the road on the freight yard👍😂 9 Link to comment
