railsquid
You say that... The migration of the low-tier Kabukichō gang members to prefectural border areas in the early 2000s (to improve tourism in the central metropolitan area) Pity the low-life gentlemen from Western Africa infesting the area wishing to be your best friend for the evening weren't migrated out at the same time... , has increased shadow activities in the area of Hachiōji. The reason for their move to these areas is that if they are caught in a chase with the law, they can easily escape to Kanagawa, or even Yamanashi. This was also a problem in Machida and the borders of Sagamihara-shi, but the locals and local authorities there have managed to sweep most of the major streets clean of these folk. Still, there are some leftovers lingering at night. In all my years in Japan I've never once felt the urge to hang out in Hachiōji at night. Or during the day for that matter. Hence my ignorance. JR 500系
Haha ~ That bus covers the longest distance bus service in the world! :) It looks quite bare. Is it a kit to be painted? You could paint that bus in a black and white Police colour to make it a police bus, since there's a police car right in front of it ~ :) Link to comment
railsquid
Haha, no, it's supposed to be a completed product, but compared to the Tomytec busses it's very crude. Had to have it as it's a line I took a lot when I lived in Berlin. It certainly could do with some detailing, including number plates. One day there will be a bit of layout where it looks more at home. 1 Link to comment

Welshbloke
Just ordered my KuMoHa11-200 set. The Kato 186mm ash pits are good, mine turned up last week. Only snag is that they're a millimetre too short for the 23-300 engine shed, but they do look the part as inspection pits in there. Link to comment

Drunkenclam
nothing exciting but here's a picture :D 10 male and female Tamiya mini connectors from supplier on amazon. The female potions seem ok, The male ones the casing seems a bit tight (no puns please) I also have on order 20 metres of red, black, blue and white cables to keep everything matching. Awaiting delivery of them now. China special so maybe in 2 weeks Link to comment
cteno4
Yeah I've found all the Tamiya (never had one with Tamiya stamped on it but they were sold as Tamiya so not sure) and clones I've bought all have had some small issues interconnecting with kato, but they all seem to do better with each other, leading me to think katos are just a tad different. But usually with some carving or filing they work. Jeff Link to comment
