What did you order or the post deliver? (Japanese N Gauge)

Hopefully this will handle a 150mm radius curve, the trailer does but obviously I won't know about the powered chassis until it arrives.

It works on R140-s too as i've been running this and the Tama train on them (including S curves) without any problems.

So... the new Tetsudo Keihan 700 has arrived to relieve one of my K-On 700s as they are the same numbers... *sigh* ;_;

Thanks, I thought it should as it mentions "Mini Rail" in the details I found for the TM-05, and the curves Tomix applies that name to seem to be 140mm. Good to hear it confirmed though!

Now for something which definitely won't run on anything under 282mm:

I managed to get hold of the 92307 add-on pack for my Tomix 500 Series. Now up to 14 cars, missing a couple of 8835s but I never thought I'd get this far. It started life as a three car basic set (the older 92082) and I've slowly managed to find the extras for it. Luckily Tomix kept the same paint colours when they re-released the model, the only way to spot the older cars in this is that they don't have glazing in doors at the coach ends. The other power car is the matching old 2876, so they have identical motors and drivetrains.

Received Microace Odakyu 3100 NSE set and complete Kato Odakyu HISE 10000 type set as well as another Kato Odakyu HISE 10000 type set for parts from NB1231.

Thanks very much Nate for your flexible payment terms and for safe delivery all the way to New Zealand. I have managed to repair my own Kato Odakyu set with the spares and will next spend time dismantling the parts set to repair couplings and get it running also.

The Microace set is really stunning in the flesh.

Also received this Platz Controller from recent Hobbysearch sale. Smooth control for my Z scale set and also Tomytec motors. Highly recommended

Enviable.

I'm still hoping for another HiSE 10000 parts set popping up some day, so I can repair mine.

Power supply is 100-240V?  I've been thinking about these for a small tram layout.

Hi Kato. They have a wall wart/AC adapter which is rated at :

input AC 100-240v 50/60Hz 200mA (8.5-14VA)

output DC12v 500mA

The Controller:

output DC 0-10V 300mA

I had a small push on plug adapter to fit to wall wart to change to NZ power socket type.

Not sure on the price now , but I got it for 1950yen.tempted to get another one at some stage. Ideal for a small display layout at a show.

Hi Suica.

I am going to try repairing the coupling using small electrical connectors made of brass/copper?? It would mean having 3 coaches permanently coupled as the connectors are ring shaped. I will try to solder some thin brass strips between these connectors and run the strips under the seating on coaches to add some strength.we will see how it works out.

That's a pretty neat idea. Almost all couplers are broken on mine. I'd appreciate some photos of that. :)

Though as of now I could only make a 10-car unit as I'm also missing a complete car.

My parcel from Ami Ami is finally in, after like a week stuck at the customs for whatever reason... Oh well, better late than never:

And the cream of this shipment, the 227 series!

First time I encountered parts dropped off from the train when I was removing it, but nothing serious, just some fixing back

Comes with the Red Wing pieces and destination boards for changing which is trademark for Tomix sets...

I have a little problem with the Red Wing, but i'll post them in a separate thread ~~

I think the Dutch customs is playing with my C50.. It's been stuck there for several days now ...

That can also explain it. They very rarely check unregistered packages, but do check almost all registered packages.

Probably one of the nicest models I got so far. I really like the wooden box.
