Pauljag900
Hi gents, Not sure if this is the right place to post this but as a lot of people use this thread here goes, Was doing a bit of track maintenance the other day and the viaduct track was nt located properly and the tram pantograph got damaged, the tram is the Tomytec lrt0606,does anyone know which replacement pantograph will fit ? If any, Thanks, Paul Link to comment
katoftw
No not really the correct place to put it. Replacement parts and new items delivered are two different things. But your pantograph, is it actually broken? Or disassembled into 3 parts? If the later, then just reassemble. Link to comment
Pauljag900
Hi kato, No it's actually snapped mate, need to replace it,it's no big deal tho,if I can t get one I ll just buy a new body shell, the difference in price between the new panto and a new body is about £5,so nt the end of the world hey? Lol,but thanks for the reply mate Paul Link to comment
ToniBabelony
Today's haul from the Asakusa Model Train Market. Sorry for not announcing it. I simply forgot... :/ - Modemo Meitetsu Mo750 with motor and light (¥3000); - minibahn DB VT08 (¥3000, junk); - Amagi modelling idea, Kashima KiHa602 brass body kit (¥900); - Sōtetsu N7000 new livery (2x ¥3000, reserved by a friend). The minibahn VT08 is a terrible thing, but will be rebuilt so it can run properly. If needed, I'll install a complete new motor and so on. After the market, we went for a drink in the Asakusa shopping street, got talked to about the costs of a stand and/or layout at the 2016 JAM (it's not as expensive as it seems) and had some laughs. All in all, quite fruitful day. 3 Link to comment

ToniBabelony
Gah We're going to have to have double the fun at the JMRA, JNMA and/or JAM this year! It'll be baller! Also, I think I'll be getting more European passenger trains (preferably MU), Japanese DMU and interurbans. The good stuff in life. The VT08 also looks tempting for a repaint... ToniBabelony
how many cars does it contains? Four in total, so I need at least four more to form a realistic formation. Other than that, I can try to make my own if they prove to be super rare now. I haven't been looking into this... Link to comment

1954G
Normally a few days' invoicing delay wouldn't make much difference to me, but with the way the Yen has been gaining against the dollar recently, the end of Golden Week can't come soon enough. Well, the USD/JPY exchange rate isn't as bad as 2011, so I can't complain too much. Link to comment
beakaboy
Picked up this Bus Depot on a local Auction site. Got quite a surprise how large the box was! Also got a couple of buses from a dealer at a local train show. He had a complete box of 12 and had opened each box to mark on the outside the model within. $8ea Also got a Kato Gp38-2 from a friend. Its almost new and only $30 with an original microtrains conversion coupler set. This same class of loco in the same livery was the very first Kato Loco I purchased ,in late 80's early 90's, so it has many memories for me. 4 Link to comment

Welshbloke
My Tomytec Wakayama 2270 Omocha Train arrived: Motor, trailer wheelsets and pantographs are on order. It was missing one of the aerial sprues for the cab roof but I found a near-identical replacement left over from another Tomytec which is an acceptable stand-in. It has sprung Rapidos fitted as I had a spare pair of grey ones in the bits box. Hopefully this will handle a 150mm radius curve, the trailer does but obviously I won't know about the powered chassis until it arrives. 5 Link to comment
