What did you order or the post deliver? (Japanese N Gauge)

Ordered a Kato Class 9600 to go with my seki 6000 set.  Now I just have to get some more freight cars to have a mixed goods train as well.

Four packs of Kato elevated viaduct easement curves turned up this morning. Also ordered the TM-08R chassis I need to get the last of my Tomytecs running.

I'm trying to complete as many Japanese projects as possible at the moment as the pound is likely to get badly hit come June, whichever way the EU referendum goes the currency speculators will batter it. So imported goods will shoot up in price, even more so if the "leave" mob get their way.

I like the way how Ami packs these decal sheets into a nice hard cardboard ~

These Kobaru road markings are really nice...

Speaking of Shinkansens and Bargain Bins - my new Tomix E3 Nasuno arrive today from HS.  A couple of solo pics and then with her sister the E3 Komachi.  There are some subtle differences such as the different color pantos, of course the Komachi symbol and what sets them apart are their finish.  The Nasuno has a flat white finish and the Komachi has a glossy white finish.  I really like it and so glad that I got it, it was too hard to pass up.  :)

That E3 Nasuno looks great! Almost the same as Komachi, but looking good nonetheless. The power couplers are nice for a change!

Looks like we're on a roll, guys. Time for another Shinkansen.

The new Tomix 200 series Joetsu/Tohoku renewal set just arrived!

It's my first complete Tomix Shinkansen set and I really like it.

Serotta, I wouldn't mind your Komachi. It'd go nicely with that 200 series. :D

Haha guess we were thinking on the same wave length! I got the basic set a few years ago during MTP's sale, which was also the first set I bought from MTP. Now we finally get to complete the full 10 car formation ~

Yes now you would need a E3 to couple with that 200 series ~ A Tsubasa would do fine too ~

Acquired through a trade with Suica a Micro Ace A1150 1000 Shinkansen.  Beautiful model, thanks Suica!

AAhhh now we know where that beautiful 1000 series went!  :)

Hmmm, this doesn't seem to include several dozen buses.  Did they mess up the order? :grin

A small assortment of track pieces required for my next 2 modules were picked up after accidentally stumbling across Popondetta in Hiroshima. Not a bad store, plenty of stock, and second hand pieces too.

Got a book on these weird and cute little steam engines that ran on (for example) on the Atami Railway. They are so intriguing, I'm thinking of making a model of it. Both N narrow and HO narrow. Luckily this thin booklet is full of detailed illustrations and photographs.

Well that's weird... the electronic bits I ordered from a Chinese supplier on ebay (one I've ordered from before) arrived... from Austria.

I've wrote to the guys at Ami Ami for missing up the orders, but they said the buses were too many to be shipped together in this box ~  :P

Eh, no fair! I didn't receive the seasonal AmiAmi card this time! :hmh:

Hi Suica san! I get these cards all the time, maybe i'll keep some of them for you next time!  :)

It occurred to me I have yet to try the Tetsukore lottery, so with no further ado:

My latest order from AmiAmi arrived today, some more containers to add to the fleet as well as some detailing parts for a future layout, sadly though no KiHa 75 as it's release date has been pushed back. On a side note my son got a V13 pack that he will use as part of a Shinkansen layout, whilst my wife had a stash of Bento boxes and other items come with it

Looks good! Is it just me or did the Tetsudo Collection price increased?

And another train just arrived from Singapore.

Good question, haven't bought any before. Tomytec prices are definitely on the up though.

The v13 is a cracking bit of kit, excellent value for money and a great starter for the viaduct tracks!
