Eurostar to the UK National Railway Museum

Rumour has it the UK's National Railway Museum has claimed a class 373 power car (a.k.a Eurostar) for the National Collection. Apparently it is one of the 'North London' sets, shorter units originally intended for operating to cities such Manchester and Leeds from Paris and Brussels. 

 

If true, I'm looking forward to seeing this alongside their 0 series Shinkansen.

After that they can park a Pacer unit alongside, they`re due for retirement aren`t they?:)

Ha, yes the Pacers are due to go, but not for the short-term. The NRM are unlikely to get one as they already have on of the original Leyland concept vehicles for the whole project...which was literally a bus on rails.

On second thought I'm not sure that that's their livery, but it's close, and it is on their property.
