Guest ___
Now for my question. Where are some good shots to get the Tokyo Metro 10000 series above ground trains? I'd like to get some of the stuff, I hadn't seen last time on film. Link to comment

The Tōkyō Metro 10000s run in 8 and 10 car formation on that section. http://bicycle-tetsu-keihin.blogspot.jp/2013/03/2013327-thu.html This website also may help in your quest: http://syuto-tetsu.main.jp/tokyu/toyoko/ ;) Link to comment

Weekends expect company. If full, Tamagawa Station up side may be a better option. Link to comment
Guest ___
I'm already penciled in on a Wednesday to try that as it stands. If I have a Passmo day-pass, do I get pinged if I exit Jiyūgaoka or Toritsu Daigaku as it on another company's line? Also what about the new(er) Tokyo Subway 1000-series above ground? For both the 10000 and 1000, I like to shoot at-grade or parallel to the street.. Edited February 27, 2015 by Shashinka add to post Link to comment

Guest ___
Note, the blank days off every other day. Those are saved for rain dates and for my feet to heal from all the walking. Also, can get workflow done in Photoshop and articles written for the newspaper(s). I may try to find another use for Day 5 railpass as not to waste it on Enoshima since it's only ¥2000R/T. I'd like to rack up about ¥15000 railfare for that last day. There are a few other similar threads on here that I am deliberately avoiding for fear I'll find more days of things to do. railsquid
I'm already penciled in on a Wednesday to try that as it stands. If I have a Passmo day-pass, do I get pinged if I exit Jiyūgaoka or Toritsu Daigaku as it on another company's line? If you board at a Tokyo Metro station and exit at a Tokyu station, you'll have to pay the fare for the sections of line used on both companies. (Nothing stopping you going as far as you can on multiple lines for "free" as long as you only exit on the same company you entered). Also what about the new(er) Tokyo Subway 1000-series above ground? Well as it runs on the Ginza underground line, your possibilities are restricted. Basically the viaduct at Shibuya station (you might be able to get some kind of view from the neighbouring Hikarie tower) or I believe the depot at Ueno, where I believe trains move over a level crossing (never been there so no idea what it's like). Yeah, that's never worked. I spent a half day waiting around for movement that never happened there in 08. Link to comment
