Sacto1985 Posted February 10, 2015 Share Posted February 10, 2015 I approve of this video. :) In many ways, building the Seikan Tunnel was a much more difficult engineering challenge than Gotthard Base Tunnel project, since tunnel boring machines wouldn't work given the issues of dealing with seawater seeping, boring through hard and soft rock, and earthquake hazard mitigation.
