stevenh
To all, Had been doing a bit of research on Mount Ikoma near Nara and found a blog site with a picture of a mounted single-car EMU. http://homepage2.nifty.com/tankenka/column-40.htm Turns out to be number 203 of the original Osaka Electric Tramway (http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%A4%A7%E9%98%AA%E9%9B%BB%E6%B0%97%E8%BB%8C%E9%81%93) (Translation correct? "大阪電気軌道") and it seems to be hidden on the mountain? The satellite imagery around the area is poor quality, so I was wondering if anyone knew if this vehicle was still up there or saved elsewhere? Update: I think this could be it, just north of Ikomasanjo Station. As the title of the section of the blog entry indicates "Electric Kintetsu Train of Sanjo". https://www.google.com.au/maps/@34.6796557,135.6805886,59m/data=!3m1!1e3 Steven Edited February 4, 2015 by stevenh 2 Link to comment

bikkuri bahn
The blog writer deliberately left out the exact location. Apparently it's on private property. Shame such a historically significant piece is left out in the elements. Link to comment
