cteno4
Oh sorry. No I replaced them with a universal transformer from my local electronic shop. No I was commenting on kvp's euro transformer. Kvp are those kato branded or ones that kato had added or do the dealers do that? Jeff Link to comment
katoftw
The suppliers here in Australia get the USA english version and toss the transformer and replace it with an home domestic transformer. I'd guess European suppliers would do the same. Link to comment
kvp
Yes. The shops can't sell the japanese version, so either the shops or the importers replace the adapters with whatever they could find that matches the original. Sometimes they use 12V DC adapters, making the top of the red line the 12V value. This could confuse some people, because the output voltages on two controllers that look the same are completly different. Link to comment
cteno4
Ahh makes sense. I. Guess dc is fine as it goes thru a rectifier anyway. Wouldn't it top out less than 12v with the rectifier taking some voltage? Jeff Link to comment
