The Next Station Is...
I'm working on my shopping list for JRF locomotives to accompany my M250 Super Rail Cargo and EF210s, and I just wanted to check I've got the right locomotives on my list! I've based it on photos on the Internet sourced when looking for Tokyo Freight Terminal and Tokaido Freight Line, so I'm hoping that these would prototypically appear in the vicinity of the route the M250 takes. EF64, EF65, EF66, EF200, DE10 No sign of HD300 from the mainstream model manufacturers! Also, does the EH200 stray into the Tokyo Freight Terminal? Most of the information I've come across suggests not but I did find one photo of the EH200 supposedly on the Tokaido Freight Line. I'm keen to get a diesel locomotive into my collection as I don't have one yet, so the DE10 will be first. Do any other diesel classes, other than the HD300, operate at/from Tokyo Freight Terminal? Thanks! Link to comment
katoftw
If Tokaido Freight Line, then add EH200 and EF210 also. I cannot say in regards to Tokyo freight terminal specificly, but I saw many EF210s between Tokyo and Yokohama. Edited January 18, 2015 by katoftw Link to comment

I cannot say in regards to Tokyo freight terminal specificly, but I saw many EF210s between Tokyo and Yokohama. That's handy, given that I've ended up with three EF210 models! A few pictures: http://tekkenweb.sakura.ne.jp/tokyorail/jrfreight/jrfn101.html Thanks, that was the site I spotted the EH200 on. There's some good photos on the site; I'm inspired by the railway staff on the locomotives and the research cabin/container! Link to comment
ToniBabelony
According to the Railway Agenda 2015: - EF64 (Aichi depot); - EF210 (Shin-Tsurumi depot); - EF210 (Okayama depot); - EF210 (Suita depot); - EH200 (Takasaki depot); - EF66 (Suita depot); - EF65 (Shin-Tsurumi depot); - EH200 (Suita depot); - M250 (Ōi depot). These locomotives operate OUT of the Tōkyō Freight Terminal, but within would be the DE10 and HD300s as mentioned earlier. Link to comment

Looks like my shopping list is complete, apart from plenty more container wagons! Link to comment

Claude_Dreyfus
This looks to be potentially a really interesting project...intrigued to see how this pans out. Link to comment
