YouTube user ato5kgyasetaito film this zenmen tenbou video of a trip on a JR East Ōu Main Line (aka Yamagata Shinkansen Line) from Yamagata to Shinjo Stations, running on the 1,435 mm (Standard gauge) tracks used by the E3 Shinkansen trainset with a JR East 701-5500 Series EMU:

 

 

Note that only once do you see an E3 Shinkansen trainset going the other way during this trip, since the line is mostly single track.
