I thought it would be cool if you could have authentic announcements from Japanese train stations. Is there such a resource for announcements with the chimes before the announcements?

There is, in fact, a site that specialized in high quality MP3s of departure melodies and automated announcements. I don't have a link handy just now, but it's in this forum somwhere…someone else with more time dig it up for our new friend?

Unfortunately, I can't seem to get departure melodies- keep getting [404 page not found] notices- annoying!!  But the ATOS train arrival notices do work, and seem to be of high quality.

Thanks for the links guys, there are some nice station announcements on youtube as well.
