Sacto1985
YouTube member dbz6586601--known for many Meitetsu, Kintetsu and JR Central zenmen tenbou videos--filmed this video of the JR Central Fujikawa limited express train from Shizuoka to Kōfu on 373 Series EMU train F10, the route which closely follows the course of the Fuji River between Fuji Station on the Tokaidō Main Line and Kōfu Station on the Chūō Main Line on the Minobu Line: Note that the train reverses direction at Fuji Station on the Tokaidō Main Line, a legacy of the realignment of the south end of the Minobu Line so trains from Tokyo can go directly onto the line (a legacy of when the Minobu Line hosted freight traffic). It should be noted that the named train uses hiregana characters (ふじかわ) since 1995 when the current 373 Series EMU's were introduced, instead of the train named in kanji (富士川) when it used the 80 and 165 Series EMU's previously. 1 Link to comment

JR 500系
I kinda like the way the 373 sounded when it is accelerating out of the station... Link to comment
