An interesting concept but I think I don`t think I could imagine living there.

For every N-gauge train car (N-gauge is a type of model train) you bring to the house, you get 50 yen (about US$0.49) off your rent.

 

 

 

I wonder if they mean locomotive / powered consist / set? It would be trivially easy to acquire a whole bunch of second-hand blue train coaches to bulk up the numbers...

HHhmmm.... I saw this news somewhere before but cant seem to find it now. It's an interesting concept though. They say for every car, so brining a 16-car consist, or even better 17-car shinkansen will induce a 800-850yen discount?  :)

Quick, buy everything from Doug, eBay etc.  Heck, 3D print anything relevant, I want the rent to be paid to me for staying!
