ote-m
This is an incredibly specific question that I'm wondering if someone here can answer. If I had a trainset on the Tokyu Toyoko line (through running on the Fukutoshin Line, Seibu Ikebukuro Line, and Tobu Tojo Line), is there any way it could eventually be on JR tracks? This would probably require an immense knowledge of detail, but what lines would I have to move the train to in order to have it, for example, in Omiya on Takasaki Line tracks? Specificity about line changes, stations, and depots would be nice. I understand that once the train is on the Tobu and Seibu lines, it can move anywhere within those company's systems, but how could I move it most quickly onto JR? Thanks in advance! Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
The most obvious route would be the JR Yokohama Line connection at Nagatsuta, which has an interchange with the Tokyu Den'en Toshi Line. Once on the Den'en Toshi Line, routing would be to Futakotamagawa, then on the Oimachi Line to Ookayama, then the Meguro Line to Denenchofu where the connection with the Toyoko Line is made. Another, much more roundabout route is via the Seibu Ikebukuro Line, which has an interchange track at Shin-Akitsu with the JR Musashino Line. As the Musashino Line is a belt line, it provides good connections with other JR lines.
