domino
Hey https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkP3kTVWwOI&feature=youtu.be Martijn was able to build a sound box into the E5 and customs mix some sound for the decoder for my E5, thanks a million. The engine sound is a bit difficult to hear due to the tracks on the wooden floor , but you get an idea of how it sounds. Really like the station sounds , gives a real Japanese feel to it. Martijn Meerts
Yeah, newest ESU loksound with the biggest speaker I could fit, and like Domino said, a custom made wooden sound box/capsule rather than the standard plastic ones they come with. The sound quality ended up being quite nice, especially with the sounds I took from CD. The sounds I took from a video that was recorded on a station ended up being a bit too noisy for my taste. Of course, many of the sounds aren't specific to the E5, and 1 of the announcements is for the Yamanote line. Most jingles aren't correct either, but overall it does have a Japanese feel to it. When we find better sounds I'll update the sound set ;) Link to comment
