titoit
Hi everybody First of all I introduce myself. I’m 40 years old man, living in Genoa, Northern Italy. I’m a railway fan and model rail collector since many years. I usually collect European models H0 gauge and I’m trying to build a small layout representing an Alps railway line at the border between Italy and Austria. A couple of week ago, I started discovering Japanese railways. I found your forum that has a plenty of information and useful discussion. I consider to start collecting Japanese models, too. Unfortunately in Italy there aren’t shops selling KATO, TOMIX or other Japanese articles, so I should turn to the Internet or look for during flea markets. We’ll talk soon Ciao!!! 1 Link to comment

disturbman
Welcome titoit,Well it is more or less the same thing everywhere, there is very few shops in Europe carrying Japanese models; and if they do the diversity is pretty limited. Anyway it is much cheaper to import yourself directly models from Japan than to buy them, here, at our local retailers. Link to comment
