I wouldn't call it a factory per se--it's actually like the new Hakusan General Rolling Stock Depot west of Kanazawa that will service the Hokuriku Shinkansen trains, where current Shinkansen trainsets are serviced and new completed trainsets brought in by truck and set up at the yard for service.
